The 2nd Annual Summer SOCK DRIVE is here! As the former Clothing Team Leader of the homeless outreach with Clara White Mission/Celebration Church, the summer months bring in a high demand for socks for our homeless guests and less fortunate friends. SOCK DRIVE 2016: I will pick up any sock donations (new or lightly used, highest demand: men's then women's) you have between now and Friday, the 8th. Please message me and we'll set up a place and time! DELIVERY and Volunteer Opportunity: Come out to Clara White Mission in downtown Jax on Sunday, the 10th to deliver the socks to our guests and share your love and JOY with the less fortunate! PS Students, I will give you 5 hours of community service for your time. Please bring the form with you. Helping the Homeless...another seasonal drive is upon us! Please SHARE this event as I've hit my 500 person invite limit! As the former Clothing Team Leader of the homeless outreach with Clara White Mission/Celebration Church, this time of year always presents the need for ballcaps and white Ts (spring favorites of our male guests) since the weather is warming up, and shoes - used work boots, tennis shoes, flip flops, etc. for both our male and female guests. SHOE, HAT, & WHITE T-SHIRT DRIVE 2016: I will pick up any used/new hats, shoes, and white T-shirts you have between now and Friday, the 8th. Please message me and we'll set up a place and time for pick up! *If someone else invites you, feel free to bring your donations the day of volunteering! Delivery and Volunteer Opportunity: Come out to Clara White in downtown Jacksonville on Sunday, the 10th to hand out your donations to our guests and share your love and joy with the less fortunate! The weather is about to drop and nights in shelters and on the streets will be cold.
BLANKET & JACKET DRIVE 2016: I will pick up any blankets and/or jackets you have between now and Friday, the 8th. We ALL have one too many blankets around the house, so please consider donating any extras. Please message me and we'll set up a place and time for pick up! *If someone else invites you, feel free to bring your donations the day of volunteering! UNDERGARMENT DRIVE 2015: I will pick up any undergarment (boxers, briefs, panties, and sock donations - highest demand: M, L, XL men's and M, L women's) you have between now and Friday, the 9th. Please message me and we'll set up a place and time! *If you're invited by someone else, feel free to bring your donations the day of volunteering. DELIVERY and Volunteer Opportunity: Come out to Clara White in downtown Jax on Sunday, the 11th to hand out your donations to our guests and share your love and joy with the less fortunate! We, along with Beaches Chapel high school students, will be wrapping easy read inspirational books filled with Bible verses and quotes, attaching a candy cane to it, heading to downtown Jacksonville, Florida for delivery, and spreading Christmas JOY and LOVE to the homeless in our city! We will take a field trip, teaming up with Cup of Love Ministry (www.cupofloveministry.com) on Wednesday morning, Dec. 10th to bless the homeless and less fortunate with this Christmas gift.
